These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Site Engineers Academy website and the purchase of training courses. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. About us
Site Engineers Academy ('we', 'us', 'our') is a professional training provider based in London, United Kingdom. By booking a course you agree to these terms.
2. Course bookings
A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received and you have received a booking confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.
3. Payment
All prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP). Payment is taken in full at the time of booking via our secure payment provider. A VAT invoice will be issued upon payment.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 7–14 days before the start date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the start date are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course; in such cases a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
5. Transfers
You may transfer your booking to a colleague or to a different course date at no charge, provided you give at least 7 days' notice. Please contact us at [email protected] to arrange a transfer.
6. Course delivery
Courses are delivered in London over 5 consecutive working days (Monday to Friday). Exact venue details will be confirmed in your booking confirmation email. Students are expected to attend all 5 days to receive a certificate of attendance.
7. Certificate of attendance
A certificate of attendance will be issued upon successful completion of the full 5-day course. Certificates are issued digitally by email. We do not guarantee that any certificate will satisfy the requirements of any particular employer, regulator, or professional body.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with a course is limited to the amount you paid for that course. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your attendance or non-attendance.
9. Intellectual property
All course materials, handouts, and content provided during training remain the intellectual property of Site Engineers Academy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any course materials without our prior written consent.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
